I work from my studio in the coastal town of Montrose, in the north east of Scotland. It's a stones throw from the beach and our ever-changing dramatic coast line, and a short car journey takes you to our stunning glens. I am so lucky to live in such a beautiful and inspiring area.

 

I discovered my passion for art six years ago on retiring from a thriving hair and beauty business. I work in a variety of media and take my inspiration from my zest for life, nature, family and friends. I love experimenting with new ideas – not all of them successful, I might add– and recently received a commendation from the Meffan Gallery in Forfar for one of my entries in their 2017 winter exhibition.
